Patricia Easley joined the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in February 2017 to serve as the Director of Corporate Partnerships after spending more than a decade as sales manager for two of the Hampton Roads area’s most prominent hotels.

She is also the owner and event specialist of Prestige Events, LLC, having served in that capacity since 2007.

Prior to joining the MEAC, Easley spent six years as sales manager for the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel in downtown Norfolk. Before that, she spent five years in the same position at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel.

Easley is no stranger to the MEAC, having been hired in the past by the conference as a subcontractor to plan and manage the conference’s annual golf tournament since 2015.

Easley is a 1987 graduate of Norfolk State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. From 1982-85, she was a cheerleader for the Spartans, and she also joined the Zeta Gamma chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority.

In 2000, Easley received an Applied Associate Science degree in Hospitality Management from Tidewater Community College.

The Chesapeake, Va. native has one son, her “pride and joy” Reggie Garrett, Jr. – who is also a Norfolk State graduate and currently serves as a graduate assistant coach for Temple University. She is also the sister of former NFL great and 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Kenny Easley.

In her spare time, Easley plans special events for clients and spends time with friends on the golf course.
