About the Championships

The 2015 MEAC Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday, October 31, in Smyrna, Delaware at the DSU Outreach and Research Center. Delaware State will host the event for the second consecutive year.

The top men’s and women’s teams are crowned league champion, while the top 15 individuals in each race are named all-conference.

The Maryland Eastern Shore men and the Florida A&M women were crowned the 2014 MEAC Cross Country Champions. The Hawks’ victory marked their fifth overall MEAC Championship. The Lady Rattlers claimed their third straight championship and seventh overall title.

Admission is free to the public.

Meet Results

Community Service

On Friday, Oct. 30, the MEAC will team up with Delaware State University to host the Power of the PINK 5K Run/Walk on the DSU campus. Registration for the event starts at 2:30 p.m. at the DSU Wellness and Recreation Center, with the run/walk to begin at 4 p.m. Proceeds for the event will go to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
