In Phil Steele's FCS College Preview, Wildcat senior center Natiel Curry added another preseason All-American award to his resume, garnering a second team nod while linebacker Ryan Lewis was named to the third-team. Curry was also named as a first team preseason All-American by Lindy's and noted among the top ten FCS linemen by The Sports Network earlier in the year.

On the MEAC picks, B-CU's representation on the First-Team offense was from linemen, with Curry joined by Alex Monroe.

The Wildcat defense garnered four pre-season All-MEAC First Team selections on the Steele listing; Lewis and fellow linebacker Reggie Sandilands, defensive end Ryan Davis and defensive back Michael Williams.

Second Team selections included running back Isidore Jackson, wide receiver Eddie Poole and punt returner Courtney Keith.
