NORFOLK, Va., February 21, 2012- Maryland Eastern Shore's T'nia Falbo was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Falbo (Jr., Greensburg, Pa.) knocked down 1,051 pins and averaged a 210.2 at the Morgan State Classic in Baltimore, Md. Falbo finished 12th overall in a field of 137 bowlers while leading the Lady Hawks to a 9-2 record and a sixth place finish. The junior recorded 200-plus scores in four out of five team games played, including a game-high 216 in a loss to Central Missouri.

Other Top Performers:

 Thea Aspiras (NSU) averaged a 202.6 to aid the Spartans to a 7-4 record at the Morgan State Classic.

Jordan Knowles (B-CU) knocked down 871 pins at the Morgan State Classic and averaged a 174.2 for the Lady Wildcats.
