B-CU to Host Inaugural Womenís Football Clinic

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman football head coach Brian Jenkins will host the first annual Women’s Football Clinic on Saturday, April 13 at the Larry R. Handfield Athletic Training Center on the B-CU campus. Admission to the clinic is free.

Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. with light refreshments in the Larry R. Handfield Athletic Training Center. It will begin with a welcome introduction from Coach Jenkins, followed by the introduction of his staff.

The purpose of this clinic is to provide every woman the opportunity to listen and interact with the coaches on the Wildcats football staff and to gain knowledge and insight into the game of college football...and to have fun while doing it. The content of the clinic has been geared towards providing basic and fundamental information with the opportunity to take your understanding to the next level.

The format of the clinic is designed to provide every woman the basic concepts and nuances of Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. The lecture format will allow the participants to ask questions throughout the clinic.
