Raynoid Dedeaux
Assistant Commissioner for Championships

Raynoid Dedeaux is entering his 14th year at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). He is in his seventh year as the Assistant Commissioner for Championships. He previously held the position of Director of Championships before taking his current position. Dedeaux continues to supervise all football and men's basketball operations, officiating programs and all MEAC championships. He also serves as the liaison to the MEAC head coaches and Directors of Athletics and as the overall manager of the conference's annual Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament.

Dedeaux was named Assistant Director of Championships and Compliance in July 2006. He returned to the conference after serving as an intern from August 2004 to June 2005. From July 2005 to June 2006, he worked as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Coppin State University. 

Dedeaux currently is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA). He served on the NCAA Division I Sports/Management Cabinet, NCAA Olympic Sports Committee and NCAA Division I Championships/Competition Cabinet Committee.

Dedeaux earned his Associate's degree at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and received a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Alcorn State University. He was a member of the football team at both MGCCC and Alcorn State.

Dedeaux began his professional career as a physical education teacher in the Jackson (Miss.) School District as an assistant track & field and football coach.

A native of DeLisle, Miss., Dedeaux currently resides in Chesapeake, Va. with his wife Shamika, daughter Kristyn and son Cameron.
