MEAC Announces Weekly Bowling Honors

NORFOLK, Va., Oct. 31, 2017Maryland Eastern Shore junior Jacqueline Rhoda was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Rhoda (Jr., Portage, Ind.) averaged 218.6 pins in traditional play at the Brunswick BearCat Open hosted by McKendree University, breaking the 200-pin mark four times -- including a weekend-best 257 against No. 3 Vanderbilt. Her performance helped the Hawks pick up five wins against nationally-ranked teams, and Rhoda was third in individual total pinfall.

Other Top Performers
Brianna Boze (NCAT) bowled a career-high 256 against Sam Houston State and averaged 196.4 pins for the weekend at the Brunswick BearCat Open.
