MEAC Announces Weekly Bowling Honors

NORFOLK, Va., Nov. 14, 2017Delaware State sophomore Alexis Neuer was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Neuer (5-6, So., Lewisburg, Pa.) had the top individual average in the MEAC Northern Division meet hosted by Coppin State this past weekend, averaging 221.8 pins in traditional play and helping the Hornets to a 7-1 mark overall in the tournament. Her weekend-best 247 came against Maryland Eastern Shore, and she broke the 200-pin mark in all four of her traditional matches.

Other Top Performers
Jasmine Newman (CSU) bowled a 214 against Morgan State and averaged 184.5 pins.

T’ea Lewis (HOW) averaged 188.0 pins and bowled a 219 against Maryland Eastern Shore.

Brianna Boze (NCAT) averaged 194 pins in the MEAC Southern Division meet, including a weekend high of 219.

Aubrey Conrad (NSU) averaged 183.7 pins in traditional play and had a weekend-best 219 against Bethune-Cookman.
