TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — For the first time in Maryland Eastern Shore history, a cross country runner will represent the school at the NCAA Nationals. Senior Khalil Rmidi Kinini makes the trek to Indiana State University to run in the meet, which takes place at noon on Saturday.

Rmidi Kinini earned this trip to Terre Haute after qualifying at NCAA Regionals in Pennsylvania on November 11th. At the 10k event, Rmidi Kinini placed fifth in the field of 157 with a time of 30:54 with a mile split of four minutes, 59 seconds. He was one of 18 participants from the Mid-Atlantic Regional to make the cut for Nationals.
