MEAC Announces Baseball Weekly Honors
North Carolina A&T State University designated hitter Jeremy Jones earned MEAC Player of the Week honors in baseball, the league announced on Monday. Teammate Tim Johnson was named Pitcher of the Week, while Norfolk State’s Chris Joyce earned Rookie of the Week accolades for the second straight week.

Osvaldo Torres hit his ninth homerun and Eric Thomas was brilliant on the mound to help visiting Bethune-Cookman down Jacksonville, 3-1 on Tuesday night in a non-conference baseball match-up in Sessions Stadium on Alexander Brest Field in Jacksonville, Fla.

Navy Drop Delaware State Hornets, 17-5
The Hornets lost a tough game this afternoon, 17-5, against Navy at Soldier Field. The loss brings the Hornets overall record to 15-26 while Navy improved to 29-21.
